Panathinaikos acquired Politi libero in his place
Panathinaikos announced the takeover of Eleana Politis, who had played for Vrilissia for the past two years, for the position of libero.
After two years in Vrilissia, Eleana Politi made the leap in her career and joined champion Panathinaikos. The 26-year-old (height 1.73 m) fights as a libero and strengthens the shamrock in this position. In the 2011/12 season he wore the shirt of Olympiakos.
The announcement states:
“Panathinaikos Athletic Club announces the start of its collaboration with Libero Eleana Politis for the Women’s Volleyball Division for the 2022-2023 season.
An important addition came from Panathinaikos, who was reinforced with Eleana Politis in the position of libero. She is an athlete who, despite her young age (26 years – 1.73 m) has passed through many teams and is said to strengthen the “clover leaf”.
In a statement on www.pao1909.com, Eleana Politi said: “I sincerely thank the management of Panathinaikos for this extremely honorable proposal that has made me and it is a great honor for me to wear the green jersey.
Panathinaikos chose me to prove my potential now and in the future. I wish you all a healthy and successful year from the bottom of my heart.”
