PAOK men’s volleyball: Milenkoski new coach
Josko Milenkoski takes over as PAOK coach for the new season and replaces Yiannis Kalmazidis.
THE Josko Milenkoski a new PAOK coach takes over, replacing Yiannis Kalmazidis at the “helm”.
Last year, 61-year-old Skopian Foinikas Syros coached to win the Super Cup.

In his technical team, Valantis will become Mamai’s assistant, Vicky Nedti’s statistician, Giorgos Ioannidis a gymnast and Dimitris Pagotos a physiotherapist.

“PAOK and the Men’s Volleyball Division announce the start of a collaboration with Coach Joshko Milenkoski for the 2022-2023 season.
Joshko Milenkoski was born on November 9th, 1960 in Skopje.
At club level, he started his career as first manager at Borec Veles Skopje and won the cup.
In 1994 he moved to Rabotnicki Fersped, where he stayed until 2007. In 14 years at Rabotnicki, he won the Skopje Championship 13 times and the Cup 10 times.
In the 2007/08 season it took place outside of Skopje for the first time, as its next stop was Montenegro, more precisely Budvanska Rivijera. That season he led the Montenegrin team to third place in the CEV Cup.
The following season he returned to Rabotnicki Fersped, where he stayed until 2010, winning the league twice and the cup twice.
The 2010/11 season found him outside Europe for the first time, specifically in Tunisia for Club Sportif Sfaxien.
In the 2011/12 season he went to Turkey, more precisely to Maliye Milli Piyango, where he stayed until 2017.
His next stop (2017-18) was again in Turkey, this time on behalf of Ziraat Bankasi, with whom he stayed until 2019, and with which he reached the final of the CEV Cup.
He returned to Tunisia again in the 2019/20 season, this time for CSS Volleyball Club.
Last season he sat on the bench of Foinikas Syros, with whom he won the Supercup.
At international level, he was the coach of the Skopje national team from 1997 to 2008. In 2017 he took over the management of the Turkish national team.
This is a coach with a full resume in volleyball and an excellent knowledge of the sport. This is also evident from the fact that he is a professor at the Department of Physical Education at Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).
In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.
The final match will take place on December 26.
