Shocking attack on Olympic gold medalist Kim Glass by a homeless man in Los Angeles
US National Team Athlete Kim Glass was attacked by a homeless man in Los Angeles.
At 37, Kim Glass has been retired for a few years, but her name is reappearing in the US for the worst of reasons. The 2008 Olympic silver medalist with the US national volleyball team was brutally assaulted in Los Angeles and suffered facial injuries, but she’s also fortunate not to need surgery to recover from the fractures she sustained.
Glass was greeting a friend after dinner when a homeless man approached her and stabbed her with a metal object. Los Angeles police have found the man who assaulted the veteran volleyball player, a 51-year-old man who is facing trial for his senseless action.
