National women’s volleyball: continues its preparation in Thessaloniki

The women’s national volleyball team will continue their preparation for the European qualifiers in Thessaloniki.

With 19 athletes, the preparation of the women’s national team continues with a view to participating in the qualifying group of the European Championships.

The national delegation left for Thessaloniki on Thursday morning (21/7), where they will start training from Friday (22/7) at the Mikras Hall, which will also be their headquarters for the home games of the 6th qualifying group (Bosnia), Norway and Switzerland our opponents).

Marcelo Abondanza and his colleagues have selected the following athletes for the second phase of the preparation:

  • passers-by: Lamprini Konstantinidou, Elisavet Iliopoulou, Panagiota Xanthopoulou, Evangelia Tanis
  • extremes: Olga Strandzali, Asimina Nikologianni, Stamatia Kyparissi, Maria Klepkou, Eva Handava, and Konstantina Vlahaki
