Kifissia Men’s Volleyball: Acquired Stivachtis for a year

Kostas Stivachtis will be Kifissia’s new passer for the 2022-23 season, with the 42-year-old passer adding another team to his long career.

In the hands of Kostas Stivachtis, Kifissia handed the baton for the next season in the Men’s Volley League. The 42-year-old passer signed a one-year contract.

Kostas Stivachtis emphasized in his first statements as a “blue and white” athlete: “I am happy that I will be wearing the Kifissia jersey in the new year. My joy will be even greater as I will be working with coach Kostas Christofidelis, who we have competed with in the past.”

The Greece international added: “Our number one goal is to play good volleyball and present a strong and competitive team in the new season. I wish us a healthy and injury-free year. We will work hard and I hope I can help my team achieve their goals. The new league is sure to be strong as all the teams have strengthened.”

The veteran passer, who was named the Volley League’s most valuable player in the 2020-21 season, is the Nordvorstadt side’s first transfer this year ahead of the new season.
