The national teams of Tatarstan, Moscow and the Kaliningrad region won the matches at the women’s tournament of the Spartakiad

The first round of the group tournament was held at the women’s competitions of the Spartakiad in volleyball among the national teams of the Russian Federation.

Two games took place in Kaliningrad. The team of the Kaliningrad region defeated the team of St. Petersburg – 3:0 (25:14, 25:23, 25:16), and the team of Moscow was stronger than the representatives of the Federal Territory “Sirius” – 3:2 (14:25, 14:25, 27:25, 25:18, 17:15).

Two meetings were also held in Tula: the team of the Republic of Tatarstan defeated the team of the Tula region – 3:0 (25:8, 27:25, 25:21). Earlier, the team of the Saratov region won the team of the Sverdlovsk region — 3:0 (25:22, 25:18, 25:18).

Tatarstan, Kaliningrad and Saratov regions lead the table with 3 points, Moscow has 2 points.

The first – third rounds will be held in Kaliningrad and Tula. The teams will finish the round-robin tournament in Moscow and Odintsovo (rounds 4–7). Following the results of this tournament, the match for 3rd place and the final will take place. As in the men’s tournament, the first two teams of the group tournament will take part in the final, and the 3rd and 4th teams will take part in the match for the bronze medals. The medal games will be held in Moscow on August 27.
