“We came out of a difficult situation with our heads held high” – Verbov about reaching the final of the Spartakiad

The head coach of the men’s volleyball team of Tatarstan Alexei Verbov commented on the entry of his team into the finals of the Spartakiad of the strongest.
On the eve of Tatarstan beat the Novosibirsk region with a score of 3:1. The match was held in Moscow, before that Verbov’s team played two matches in Odintsovo.
– We played the first match in this hall, there was not even a training session before it. Perhaps this is one of the factors that affected the quality of the game – there were many of our own mistakes that were not typical for us. We needed time to find our game, slowly rolled in. I am glad that the guys came out of a difficult situation with their heads held high,” Verbov said, quoted by the official website of the Spartakiad.
A round before the end of the main stage, the Tatarstan team with 6 points secured the first place in the table and a ticket to the final.
