Alexander Volkov, blocker of the men’s volleyball team of Tatarstan, spoke about the performance of his team at the Spartakiad of the strongest.
The day before, the team beat the Novosibirsk region (3:1) and, having achieved six victories in six matches of the tournament, advanced to the finals of the Spartakiad ahead of schedule.
— In the first game we didn’t cope with servings — Novosibirsk played well. The most important thing is that then they broke the game. It’s great that we all go to the site and cope with their tasks – everyone plays and has time to relax.
