The national team of Tatarstan beat the team of the Leningrad region at the Spartakiad

The Tatarstan national volleyball team defeated the team of the Leningrad Region in the final group stage match at the All-Russian Spartakiad in Summer Sports among the strongest athletes in 2022.
On the eve of the volleyball players from Tatarstan issued a ticket to the final of the tournament. On Friday, they were stronger than the representatives of the Leningrad region with a score of 3-2 (25:19, 25:18, 22:25, 15:25, 15:6). Alexei Verbov’s team scored 20 points in seven rounds.
In another meeting of the day, the team of the Belgorod Region defeated the athletes from the KhMAO‑Yugra team — 3–1 (22:25, 25:19, 25:22, 25:15). The Belgorod national team takes the preliminary second place with 13 points.
The final matches of the group stage will take place later on Friday. The Moscow team will play against the team of the Novosibirsk region, the volleyball players of the Kemerovo region will meet with the team of St. Petersburg.
The final and the match for third place will be held on August 21 in Moscow.
The Spartakiad of the strongest started on August 10 and will end on October 2.
