On Wednesday, the team of Tatarstan defeated the team of the Kaliningrad region in the match of the sixth round of the group stage with a score of 3-1 (25:21, 23:25, 25:15, 25:23).
– The Spartakiad for our team consists of a big swing. We are looking for our game, ourselves. We have a lot of matches when we start with a failure, then turn on, come to our senses and win. For example, yesterday it was the other way around in the game with the St. Petersburg team, they started well, then there was a failure. After six rounds, athletes from Tatarstan lead the table with 15 points.

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
