Greece 3-0 Norway: Easy victory for the national team and 3/3 in EuroVolleyball qualifiers
The women’s national volleyball team won 3-0 sets against Norway in Mikra and made 3/3 in the EuroVolleyball qualifiers.
The women’s national team celebrated their third win in as many games in the 6th qualifying group for the European Championships.
Our representative group easily defeated Norway 3-0, taking another step towards the finals in the crowded Mikras Gymnasium in Thessaloniki.
Marcelo Abondanza had shown since yesterday that he would make some changes to the squad, handing the starting shirt over to Hadava, Kelesidis, with the national side impressive at the start of the game going 10-0 without Norway ever being able to threaten us (13th May). -2, 18-6, 20-10) to reach 25-12.
There wasn’t much of a difference in the second set at first, going from 10-5 to 17-5 with Hadava on serve, but there was a lot of doldrums from one point on as Norway cut to 20-15 to follow with a lone result 5 -1 for the final 25-16.
In the third set the start reminded us of the first as we took an 8-0 lead with Norway catching up a bit (10-5) but we got away very quickly 20-10 and the final 25-11 came in apotheosis .
