FC Barcelona has officially named Robert Lewandowski a club legend, months after the Polish striker left the club to join Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire.
Lewandowski played 193 matches for Barcelona, scoring 120 goals and providing 22 assists. He won La Liga three times with the club but never lifted the Champions League, a trophy Barcelona has not won since 2015.
The 37 year old, who captains Poland's national team, is now playing in MLS for Chicago Fire.
Barcelona's official website lists Lewandowski among 110 players honored as club legends, a group that includes Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol, Gary Lineker, Samuel Eto'o, Patrick Kluivert, Michael Laudrup, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Luiz Nazario, Rivaldo, Romario, Dani Alves and Neymar.
The club's site also names 61 legendary coaches, including Hansi Flick, Xavi Hernandez, Ronald Koeman, Pep Guardiola, Ernesto Valverde, Luis Enrique, Tito Vilanova, Johan Cruyff, Louis van Gaal and Frank Rijkaard.
