Great loss. Golden State’s star player will not be able to play for the rest of the season
Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler The club announced on its official pages that he would miss the rest of the season.
Butler was diagnosed with a cruciate ligament injury in his right knee that would require surgery.
Jimmy left the game with 7:41 left in the third quarter in a game against the Miami Heat, collapsing after making an errant landing following a pass and clutching his right knee in pain. The star striker was immediately removed from the field.
Before his injury, Butler managed 17 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals in 21 minutes.
He averaged 20 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in 38 games this season.
The Warriors currently sit eighth in the Western Conference with a 25-20 record.

Ware’s shot at the last second brought CSKA victory over Uralmash in the VTB United League match
CSKA Moscow defeated Uralmash from Yekaterinburg in the VTB United League match.
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 87:84 (28:21, 26:21, 18:13, 15:29) in favor of the “red-blues”.
The victory for the Moscow team was brought by Casper Ware, who scored a three-point shot in the last second of the match. He also became the most productive player in CSKA, scoring 21 points. Uralmash has 22 points from Hayden Dalton.
CSKA won 20 victories in 22 matches and ranks first in the standings, Uralmash (8–14) is in eighth place.

In the first match after Sekulic’s suspension, Zenit beat MBA-MAI in the VTB United League
Zenit from St. Petersburg beat Moscow MBA-MAI in the regular championship match of the VTB United League.
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 99:83 (24:25, 23:23, 26:21, 26:14) in favor of the guests. For Zenit, Luka Shamanic scored 22 points, and Trent Fraser made a double-double of 17 points and 14 assists. Pavel Savkov has 24 points at MBA-MAI.
On Tuesday, Alexander Sekulic was suspended from his duties as head coach of Zenit. The team’s preparation for the match against MBA-MAI took place under the leadership of Maxim Uchaikin, who became the temporary head coach.
Zenit is in fourth place in the standings, MBA is in sixth place.
