The Moscow men’s team won two victories at the start of the 3×3 basketball tournament at the Spartakiad

The teams of Moscow and the Samara Region won their matches of the first and second rounds of the men’s 3×3 basketball tournament as part of the All-Russian Summer Sports Games among the strongest athletes in 2022.
The capital team, playing in group A, on Friday defeated the team of Tatarstan (21:17), as well as the team of the Sverdlovsk region (18:14).
The team of the Samara region (group A) defeated the teams of the Bryansk (22:17) and Moscow (21:18) regions.

The Los Angeles Clippers basketball players beat the Brooklyn Nets in a home match of the NBA regular season.
The meeting in Inglewood ended with a score of 126:89 (38:14, 30:23, 28:29, 30:23).
The most productive player for the Clippers was forward Kawhi Leonard (28 points). Brooklyn forward Danny Wolf scored 14 points.

“My finger popped out again, so I had to put it back in. I put it right back in. It was the same finger that had been operated on before, so it was a little scary, but it would still be fine.”
I sprained my operated finger and thought, “I don’t want to quit playing.” I quickly tried to set it up and if it hadn’t worked I would have left the site long ago. But I managed to get back into the game.
It’s part of basketball, it’s part of me. I’m a tough player, things happen and I want to help the team in any way possible, whether it’s with ten fingers or nine fingers,” Smart said.
While Los Angeles Lakers defeated Dallas Mavericks with a score of 116:110, Smart played 32 minutes and played with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks during this time.

“I was very happy to come back here. I went home and looked at my cars. But, you know, it’s always emotional. I was very pleased that the fans applauded me when I was introduced.”
