According to several American media, the New Orleans Pelicans have captured the Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum.

In exchange for McCollum, the Pelicans would have sold, among other things, to the Blazers’ center Josh Hart and selected a draft. Tomas Satoranky, Nickel Alexander-Walker and Didi Louzada would also move to the Blazers in this trade.

McCollum’s name has been part of the commercial rumors in recent weeks, as his roster continues to slip into the Western Conference standings. Portland has lost its last five games.

McCollum, 30, spent his nine seasons in the NBA with the Trail Blazers. In 36 games this season, he averaged 20.5 points per game. It was the 10th overall pick in the 2010 draft.

NBA teams can negotiate until February 10 at 3 p.m.
