NBA Trade Deadline: Harden, Simmons, Bill and Armageddon

The 30 NBA organizations work 24 hours a day and as the trading deadline (Thursday February 10, 10:00 p.m. Greece) approaches, Sportish advises you to prepare for big steps, for an exchange that will cause a stir .

Less than 48 hours remain before the trade deadline horn sounds and the NBA is on alert, with the 30 organizations working 24 hours a day on and off the court to head into the final straight of the regular season after each enjoyed individual success Gates.

Some groups want to cut their salaries, either to avoid multi-million dollar luxury taxes, or to avoid the tax repeater, or simply to make room for Free Agency 2022. Some groups want to be empowered without being interested in money, some are looking for a piece to feel complete and some know they have certain weaknesses but will try to cover for those they consider their priority. Very big names are in concession status, with the Milwaukee Bucks, as we explained a few days ago, poised for the third year in a row to land the “hit” that will raise their level heading into the playoffs.

However, from what we are seeing over the last few days and hours, with the exchanges of Caris Levert, Domandas Samponis, McCollum, Powell, Covington, Nance, Snell from the Blazers and the very intense activity observed two days before the exchanges we have a feeling that an… Armageddon is poised to beat the NBA. Maybe a lot of people wake up on Friday morning and see a different league. And that’s positive, because in a championship characterized by justice and transparency, everyone will have achieved their goals.

The big names under concession

Normally forecasts in such periods do not fit. James Harden and Ben Simmons are two players on the trade block, although their teams say they won’t give up. The Nets and the Sixers can work together to resolve some of their issues, and they’ve been in touch for several days, despite arguing publicly in Brooklyn that Moussias won’t be released.

They’re trying to increase his value because they know he’s not doing well in the team and over the summer there’s a very good chance they’ll lose him for absolutely nothing as he could break his contract to be fully free to enter the market agent. A proposal featuring Simmons, Drummond, and either another roleplayer or a draft pick could convince the Nets to send Harden to Philadelphia. If they don’t, they’ve missed a great opportunity to get a good reward, as the Sixers believe they’ll put Mousia to her potential either now or in the summer.

Bradley Bill could also be available but the wrist injury proved serious and will keep him out of action for the remainder of the season. Washington are looking to keep him on a new five-year deal over the summer, trying to find out what he thinks through the media and knowing the 30-year-old is a goalscorer who can have a steady 26-28. They would give him 30 points a game without hesitation so as not to lose him for nothing next summer. But now all they have to do is wait to negotiate with him at Free Agency.

Major names that are on the trading block, at least in theory, are Pacers center, Miles Turner, Pistons forward Jeremy Grant, of course Los Angeles Lakers’ Russell Westbrook, and on top of that, many Rolisters, many veterans who will later find their free team who will make it to the championship, too many athletes like Facudo Cabaso who can bid but have ahead of them several younger ones supported by their coaches with a background from the future rather than the present.

Teams are looking for help

This category includes all organizations that, if not the league, at least aim to participate in the East and West Finals and thus the NBA Finals.

The Heat are a traditional team…concerned they won’t hesitate to give up shooter Duncan Robinson, who also has a tough contract compared to what he’s offering, with Pat Riley and Eric Spolstra not the slightest headache from over-concentration have talent. This year’s Heat have no weaknesses, but every team can still improve and in Miami they’re always ready to make their move. They are extremely fond of Bradley Bill and Donovan Mitchell, but not to overdo it at this point.

The Bucks, on the other hand, are offering Dode DiVincenzo league-wide knowing they won’t be able to pay him off at the end of the year, favoring Grayson Allen and looking for a backup ace like Dennis Schroeder or a big one behind the lone one Rider Giannis Antetokounbo – Bobby Portis will play. Or both.

The Bulls are comfortable with their roster, as are the Raptors and the Hornets. The Cavaliers have taken Caris Levert to cover for Sexton-Rubio’s injuries but they may not have finished their moves yet, the Sixers want Harden and if they fail to get him they will for Bradley Bill – Donovan Try Mitchell.

The Celtics are a mystery and despite what has been at least a mediocre year they will find it very difficult to make any major changes. Throughout the NBA, the Hawks are offering Danilo Galinari a pay cut, the Knicks will also be looking for something very big and will not be surprised when they talk about the transfer of Julius Randle, the Pacers continue with an epic refresher , since they have already given Levert, Justin Holiday, Lamp, Samponis, the Pistons and the Magic are in a phase of rebuilding and can become a big one and , but also offer veterans. The first are Jeremy Grant, Trey Liles, Kelly Olinick, the second are Terence Ross.

In the west, the Suns are taking a walk, but they are looking for an addition, probably in the high positions, without ruling out even one big move that will make them powerful. The warriors will hardly play an important role in these two days. as do grizzlies, establish a good proboscis and may be looking for a complement. The Jazz are questionable as rumors persist that Donovan Mitchell’s relationship with Rudy Gomber is deteriorating rather than improving as the Salt Lake City team loses regional Joe Ingles for the remainder of the year.

The Mavericks will have a very hard time finding a good offer for Kristaps Porzingis, they will try to get something good by giving guard Jalen Branson, but we don’t expect a big move from Dallas. Not even from Denver, at a time when Minnesota now offers a good old-age scorer in Pangit Malik Beasley. The Clippers took Norman Powell and Robert Covington to gain depth, while Paul George and Kwai Leonard remain out of action hoping they will have a championship lineup should those two return. And indeed it will be an excellent team, with many solutions and few weaknesses.

The Lakers are desperate, Russell Westbrook’s contract is considered untradable, their roster is old, but they will do anything to give and even take back the veteran point guard…nothing just to get rid of him. They see him as the beginning of all their problems, of course they are wrong and they will understand if they really leave him as the other guards on the roster are at least mediocre and certainly not players for a team of their dreams but can’t keep up with the existing potential.

The Blazers have vacated Norman Powell, CJ McCollum, Larry Nance, Tony Snell and Robert Covington, but it’s possible they have another job ahead of them. Yusuf Nurkic remains at large until the end of the year, so it’s possible he’ll be sacked too.

The Spurs won’t be looking for anything big, the Thunders will be sailing in calm waters without ruling out the possibility of helping a team by getting a big contract and some draft picks like GM Sam Presti likes to do the Rockets support their youth team and if they don’t find a replacement for Eric Gordon they will likely sack him later to give him a chance to be in a more competitive environment.

As for the pelicans? They took CJ McCollum from the Blazers, they’ve got a good five and they’re waiting for Zion Williamson. When will New Orleans’ most important player return? Unknown. The team may have another move in the pipeline to have even better chances chasing the West Ten and the Play-In tournament.

Antetokounmpo says how much time he could miss due to injury

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo He injured his right calf in the match against the Denver Nuggets, resulting in his team’s defeat with a score of 100:102.

With about 40 seconds left in the game, during a quick attack, Janis suddenly stopped and caught his lower right leg. He quickly left the field and went to the locker room and returned to the bench seconds before the end of the game.

After the match, Janis confirmed that he felt pain throughout the match and had to stop:

“It doesn’t matter when I felt it. It doesn’t matter. I couldn’t finish the match. I felt it for most of the game, but I didn’t want to stop. Finally, I couldn’t move anymore and had to stop. Throughout the game, the pain got worse and worse as I played.”

Antetokounmpo estimated he would be out for four to six weeks.

“The next step will probably be an MRI tomorrow. After the MRI, they’ll probably tell me that I’ve torn something in my calf or shoulder. I’ll probably be given a protocol where I won’t play for 4 to 6 weeks.”

I will try to come back from now on with my experience in the NBA. This will probably be late February – early March. Hopefully the team will be in a position where we can at least go to the play-ins or play-offs and we will work every day and try to get better,” Janis added.

Janis finished the game with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.

Antetokounmpo has missed eight games this season due to a calf injury and looks set to face a similar injury this time around.

Giannis, who missed a total of 16 games this season due to his injury, averaged 28.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Len talked about the difference between playing in the NBA and the Spanish Championship

Real Madrid’s Ukrainian headquarters Alexey Len He talked about the main differences between playing in the NBA and playing in the Spanish Championship:

“I had some difficulties when I first arrived and I still have some catching up to do in the Euroleague. But the season is long, I work on myself every day, I try to play better every day and I try to help the team win more games.”

When I came here I realized this; I really like ACB matches because each team plays in its own style. There are teams that work hard in the post, while others shoot too many threes. In the NBA, everything is essentially about pick-and-rolls and three-point shots. And in ACB you never know who you will face and in what style this or that team will play. This difference makes the matches fun to watch and play. You should always be prepared because a completely different game style may be waiting for you. That’s why it’s so beautiful.”

Len, who played 17 matches for Real Madrid this season, played an average of 8.6 minutes on the field and recorded 3.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.9 blocks during this time.

Len previously said whether he follows the performances of the Ukrainian national team and whether there is a chance of returning to the national team.
