Goran Dragic’s stay at the Toronto Raptors is already over.

The Raptors did indeed trade the veteran guard for the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for striker Thaddeus Young, many media outlets reported on Thursday.

The Raptors also got their hands on the agile Drew Eubanks and a selection for the 2nd round of 2022 that belonged to the Detroit Pistons. The Spurs get the Raptors 1st round selection in 2022. However, this selection could be a 2nd round selection after 2023.

ESPN expert Adrian Wojnarowski, meanwhile, added that the Spurs intend to buy Dragic’s contract immediately. The Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers could be interested in his services.

Dragic’s move to the Raptors was relatively short, with the team bringing him into the trade that sent Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat this summer. Dragic intended to bring stability after the person left the delegation.

Dragic played the first four games of the season before sitting on the bench on October 27. He did not play again until November 13, after which he left the team for personal reasons.
