NBA Trade Deadline: All movements prior to the trade deadline
From the much-anticipated Harden bombshell to the much-anticipated Milwaukee Bucks move, and from the Crystals Porzingis trade to the all-night all-around, these are all moves that preceded the NBA trade deadline.
The bomb we’ve all been waiting for actually exploded on Thursday evening (10/2). The Nets and the Sixers closed hands, with James Harden going to Philadelphia and Ben Simmons moving to Brooklyn with Seth Curry-Andre Drummond in a deal that couldn’t be avoided after being heard/written/leaked in recent days was. Moussias joins Joel Ebid with Paul Millsap, Simmons will make a fresh start alongside Irving-Durand and everyone is happy.
The first major move of the night was made by the Bucks, who were in a big four-team deal. They gave Dode Divincenzo to the Kings and took Serge Ibaka from the Clippers to ideally fill their greatest need. The tall one behind Giannis Antetokoumbo and Bobby Portis. The same time, The Raptors sent Goran Dragic to San Antonioto bring in veteran forward Thad Young and extra-tall Drew Yubanks from Spurs.
The Celtics conceded guard PJ Dozier and forward bowl to Orlando Magic for a second-round draft pick. Their goal was to cut their salary and they did it great as the two youngsters wouldn’t help them this year as they will lose the rest of the season to injuries. Shortly thereafter, the Boston team sent peripheral Josh Richardson to the Spurs and took back guard Derrick White to reinforce their bench.
The Charlotte Hornets made a great move with Montrezel Harel, with the Mavericks pulling out right after the scandal, sending Christaps Porzingis to Washington for Spencer Dingwidi and Davis Bertans. It wasn’t an exchange we expected, nor an exchange between the Celtics and the Rockets. Boston gave Dennis Schroeder, Houston gave Daniel Thais and everyone was happy. In addition to Schröder, Enes Kader – Bruno Fernando was also transferred, who will soon be looking for a team as free agents.

Antetokounmpo says how much time he could miss due to injury
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo He injured his right calf in the match against the Denver Nuggets, resulting in his team’s defeat with a score of 100:102.
With about 40 seconds left in the game, during a quick attack, Janis suddenly stopped and caught his lower right leg. He quickly left the field and went to the locker room and returned to the bench seconds before the end of the game.
After the match, Janis confirmed that he felt pain throughout the match and had to stop:
“It doesn’t matter when I felt it. It doesn’t matter. I couldn’t finish the match. I felt it for most of the game, but I didn’t want to stop. Finally, I couldn’t move anymore and had to stop. Throughout the game, the pain got worse and worse as I played.”
Antetokounmpo estimated he would be out for four to six weeks.
“The next step will probably be an MRI tomorrow. After the MRI, they’ll probably tell me that I’ve torn something in my calf or shoulder. I’ll probably be given a protocol where I won’t play for 4 to 6 weeks.”
I will try to come back from now on with my experience in the NBA. This will probably be late February – early March. Hopefully the team will be in a position where we can at least go to the play-ins or play-offs and we will work every day and try to get better,” Janis added.
Janis finished the game with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.
Antetokounmpo has missed eight games this season due to a calf injury and looks set to face a similar injury this time around.
Giannis, who missed a total of 16 games this season due to his injury, averaged 28.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
