The Washington Wizards dealt a blow by acquiring Kristaps Porzingis from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Spencer Dingwidi and David Bertans, according to several sources close to the NBA.

Porzingis was acquired by the Mavs from the New York Knicks in January 2018. The Latvian found it difficult to remain on the floor next to Luka Doncic due to multiple injuries.

The 26-year-old is averaging 19.2 points per game with 45.1% shooting and 28.3% from three-pointers in 34 games this season.

Dinwiddie, in his first year on a $ 54 million three-year deal, struggled this season, scoring 37.6 percent and averaging 12.6 points per game.

Bertans, 29, averages 5.7 points in just over 14 minutes per game. He has also struggled since signing a five-year, $ 80 million contract in the fall of 2020.

A trade of four groups

The Milwaukee Bucks will acquire the former Toronto Raptors player Serge Ibaka in an exchange of four teams, according to many reports.

Marvin Bagley III will move from the Sacramento Kings to the Detroit Pistons as part of the trade, while guard Dode DiVencenzo will end up in the Kings. Trey Lyles and Josh Jackson go to the Pistons, while Rodney Hood and Semi Ojele go to Los Angeles with the Clippers.

Here are the full details of the transaction, via Adrian WojnarowskiESPN.

Kings: Donte DiVincenzo, Trey Lyles and Josh Jackson.

Bucks: Serge Ibaka, two future second round options, cash.

Clippers: Rodney Hood, Semi-Ojele.

Pistons: Marvin Bagley Jr.

The Hornets add weight to their roster

The Charlotte Hornets will acquire Montrezl Harrell from the Washington Wizards for Ish Smith and Vernon Carey, according to several sources.

Harel has averaged 14.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 46 games this season.

The Hornets will be his third team since leaving the Clippers, after winning the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2019-20.

The Celtics are making two trades.

The Boston Celtics will trade Josh Richardson for Derrick White at the San Antonio Spurs, according to Shams Charania The Athletic.

The Spurs will be Richardson’s fifth team in just five years. A key player with the Celtics, Richardson has averaged 9.7 points and 2.8 rebounds since the beginning of the season.

White, 27, has averaged 14.4 points in 42.6 percent of 49 shots so far this season.

In addition, the Celtics traded guard PJ Dozier, center-back Bowl and a future second-round pick for a future second-round pick from the Orlando Magic.

Bol and Dozier are both injured for the rest of the season.
