Best Performance: Stephen Curry

There were no other candidates. After another All-NBA season, Curry had the best performance of his career in the fourth game from finals against the elite Celtics defense, scoring 43 points on 14 of 26 shooting.

The Warriors went on to win the next two games to close out the series, and Steph picked up his first Finals MVP award after avg. 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2 steals.

Whether it’s that Game 4 or the entire tie, Curry deserves credit for his brilliance.

Biggest Career Trade: Andrew Wiggins (Warriors)

Speaking of the Warriors, how can i forget wiggins? The 27-year-old forward became a staple in Golden State’s rotation, making his first All-Star Game selection and starting.

He later took his game to another level during the Californians’ championship run. He accepted the task of guarding the opponent’s best player on every drive, contributed rebounds and was a Consistent secondary scorer.

Wiggins was just a different player than we saw in Minnesota. He may never live up to the “Maple Jordan” nickname he received as a youngster, but he has shown he can thrive in the right role.

Call to Succeed: Jayson Tatum

Tatum and the Celtics fell two wins short of the title, but the forward has a bright future ahead of him.

She was 24 years old All-NBA for the first time in his career last season. Now, he looks like a legitimate MVP candidate on the best team in the Eastern Conference.
