The legendary Harden, Sixers beat Celtics in overtime to tie the series 2-2

An unlikely game in Philadelphia where the Sixers beat the Celtics 116-115 in overtime and tied the series 2-2. Great play from James Harden, who scored the game-winning 3-pointer, followed by Marcus Smart’s miss.

The pressure was great for both of them. The Sixers and Celtics battled it out in Philadelphia on Sunday night (7/5), with the home side clinching a huge win (116-115) to level the series 2-2. A great performance by James Harden who scored 42 points and the longest shot of the game before Marcus Smart emulated it but watched the clock beat him.

Musias was in cold blood 19″ before the final when he took Joel Embiid’s pass and turned it into an assist. The Sixers finished the game with 13/34 three-pointers but only had seven turnovers in 53 minutes(!) and This allowed them to stay alive in the Eastern Finals qualifier. Harden had 10/14 2-pointers, 6/9 3-pointers, 4/4 shots, eight rebounds, nine assists, four steals, and a block all with a foul at 47:24.

Joel Embiid had his moments (34 points, 11/26 shots, 13 rebounds, 4 assists in 46 minutes), Maxi-Harris-Tucker complemented each other perfectly, in an unlikely derby with suspense leading to the final.

What did the Celtics miss? The consequence. Jayson Tatum was on a different field in the first half as Jaylen Brown tore through the competition, with the roles reversed in the second half. Marcus Smart (21 points) was both impressive and fatal when he missed the winning shot in the regular-season final and saw his 3-pointer miss the target in the overtime final. Al Horford’s defense (10 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 5 blocks in 37:52) was exciting and now the series with the Celtics returns to Boston quite…stressed.
