WBC strawweight champion Panya Pradabsri (38-1, 23 KOs) won by unanimous decision after twelve rounds against former champion Wanheng Menayothin (55-2, 19 KOs) in a rematch on Tuesday at the City Hall Ground in Nakhon Sawan in Thailand.

This is the second time he has been beaten by unanimous decision by Pradabsri.

Menayothin, 36, was very aggressive, but Pradabsri, 31, was ready to fight. After four rounds, the scoreboard presented by the WBC showed Menayothin 39-37, 38-38, 38-38. Pradabsri was leading 77-75, 78-74, 78-74 after eight bouts. Menayothin pinned Pradabsri on the ropes in the ninth round and he desperately tried to close the gap but was unsuccessful. The final cards were 117-111 from all three judges.

Menayothin, also known as Chayaphon Moonsri, had a perfect 54-0 record before losing to Pradabsri for the first time in November 2020.
