Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Nganna left Dane White in 2022 to try her strength, and at the same time to earn extra money in boxing, later moved to PFL. Recently, the predator again expressed a desire to bore, looking for himself as an opponent of the ex-champion of the world in heavyweight according to the WBC version of Deontei Wilder. But there is a chance that in the near future a 38-year-old athlete will not be in the ring, but behind bars.

According to Cameroononline.org, Easter Sunday found Francis in his native Cameroon. There, he cut with a breeze through the streets of Yaunda and unfortunately became the culprit of the accident, knocking down the 17-year-old Ntsam Bridget Manuella. The circumstances of the incident are not entirely clear. According to some sources, the predator was driving a car and knocked down a motorcyclist. According to others, he himself led a motorcycle, and his victim was walking with his friends. In any case, the fatal trip ended sadly.

The martial arts star did not hide from the scene, but personally took the victim to a good hospital and paid for all medical expenses. The girl who received multiple fractures required an operation, but, no matter how the doctors tried, after a while Ntsama Bridget Manuella died.

Nganna has not yet commented on what happened, but, according to the press, he is in a depressed state. It is hardly worth it to doubt it, and such a thug has a heart. Nevertheless, one cannot dismiss the fact that the predator is unintentional, but still deprived of a person’s life. And this is very serious, so you will not get off with an apology and payment of compensation here, even if you are a world -famous athlete. At least in theory.

But in fact, of course, options are possible, which is why they worry in Cameroon that the star of MMA can get away with. The local press recalled a similar case in 2021, when a popular rapper shot down a student to death. The culprit of the accident was detained, but later, for some unknown reasons, they released. Is it worth it to expect that Camerunsky justice will be more strictly than?

Lawyer and politician Christian Nimban Bom announced the need to start a criminal investigation to establish all the reasons for the tragedy. Speaking about the need to avoid double standards, it requires the arrest of Ngann. But whether it will come to this, so far remains unclear. It is strange that before the high-profile statements of the politician, the thought of the ex-champion of the UFC occurred to anyone. In this situation, we can say that the law enforcement and judicial system of the African country has to withstand a difficult exam.
