Family disease claimed the life of a six -time champion of the country. Timur was only 33 years old
The fighter resisted the rare form of cancer, but was powerless against a terrible ailment.

According to media reports, Burov in 2024 revealed a rare form of cancer of the lymphatic system. The athlete began the fight against a heavy ailment, but after a few months he was gone.
“The Belarusian Kikboxing Federation and Thai Boxing expresses sincere condolences of the multiple world and European champion Elena Leshkevich in connection with the loss of the wife of Timur,” the Federation’s official website says.
For the Burov family, oncology has become a real curse. Earlier, the younger sister of the athlete died from the same form of cancer.
