The winning Tim Tszyu American boxer of Fundor is deprived of the WBO belt in the first middle weight
The American boxer Sebastian Fundor was deprived of the championship belt of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) in the first middle weight, said the President of the Organization of Gustavo Olivieri.
In March 2024, Fundor defeated Tim Tszyu with a separate decision of the judges and won the WBO and WBC titles in the first middle weight. In March 2025, Fundor in Las Vegas in the fourth round defeated the American Chordil Boker and held the first protection of his belts. Later, journalist Mike Koppinger, citing sources, said that the match -Ra ray of the Fundora and Tszyu will be held in the summer in the USA.
– The WBO Committee unanimously voted to deprive the poundors of the WBO world champion title in the first middle weight, the decision comes into force immediately. The Executive Committee ratified the decision. Accordingly, the title becomes vacant, ”wrote Olivieri on the social network X.
Fundor is 27 years old, he won 22 fights, in one lost, and one ended in a draw.

Absolute world champion in the second lightweight category Naoya Inoue (32-0, 27 KOs) commented on the victory of the fight played on Saturday, December 27th.
In Saudi Arabia, the Japanese representative defeated Mexican Alan David Picasso by unanimous decision and defended his WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles.

The strongest boxers of our time – Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Japanese Naoya Inoue – We met in the ring of Mohammed Abdo Aren in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on December 27th.
On this day, a boxing night took place, the main event of which was the fight in the weight category up to 55.3 kg. WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF world champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) defeated his Mexican opponent Alan David Picasso (32-0-1, 17 KOs).
The fight continued for all 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for the Japanese “Beast” by unanimous decision.
After the final gong, Usik approached the champion in the ring, congratulated him on his victory and shook hands. Inoue admitted that he was not 100% satisfied with his performance and appreciated the Ukrainian’s place in the ranking of the strongest boxers of our time.
Next year, Usik plans to fight against former American champion Deontay Wilder, and Naoya is considering two options: Junto Nakatani or Jesse Rodriguez.
