Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko expressed his views on his colleague Alexander Shlemenko.

“I had a small conflict with Shlemenko. I invited him to a fight, he refused to fight. And now he’s hooking or faking it against me. Who will I support in the war between Shlemenko and Ismailov? For Mohammed, of course. And who is Shlemenko for me? Only Shlemenko. A laughing star from the Ural Mountains.

Why do I consider Shlemenko a star? This is expressed in all his actions. I think Shlemenko considers all people, except himself, to be non-human, very correct, non-drinking athlete. It is necessary to look around and take into account the surrounding opinion. And do not beat yourself in the chest: “I do not drink, I do not drink, I do not drink.” So arrogant Shlemenko, so proud. Whether he wins or fights, they don’t like him in Russia. Fight him? I offered, he refused. He said that this is not his weight category so I can weigh up to 84 kg. So technically he jumped out of the war. He is a bzdun, he understands that I will beat him, ”Emelianenko said in an interview with Sport24 correspondent Yaroslav Stepanov.
