Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier thinks Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz should complete the trilogy.
In the first fight between rivals in March 2016, Diaz won by choking in the second round. The revenge, which took place six months later, lasted all 5 rounds, as a result of which most of the judges gave the victory to McGregor.
“Conor and Diaz should complete the trilogy. This is a very loud fight. It cannot be said that at the moment they are the main contenders for the championship, but still it will be very interesting.
They have already fought twice, and both showed themselves well. However, I do believe that Chandler will be Conor’s rival because he has managed to gain immense popularity in the UFC in a short time. This is a good option. Chandler fights the way Conor loves and is ready for the middleweight division.
But I think McGregor should end the confrontation with Diaz, but I think he will meet with Michael,” BJPenn quotes Cormier.
