Emelianenko moves with difficulty and barely speaks. The condition of the fighter is appalling

Fans are sure that the next fight could cost Alexander his life.

The best years of the sports career of the Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko are obviously left behind. At the age of 40, an athlete gets into the media space much more often because of the constant scandals surrounding his person than thanks to exploits in the octagon.

Recently, he has slipped into freak-fighting in the worst sense of the term. But more questions are now raised not by the selection of rivals, but by the state of health of Alexander himself. It is dangerous to live in this form, let alone fight.

Emelianenko fans are already sounding the alarm!

Uneven gait and speech problems

In September of this year, Alexander Emelianenko plans to fight according to the rules of boxing with the odious Vyacheslav Datsik. Immediately after the announcement of this fight, experts began to pour out predictions, the essence of which boiled down to one thing: Alexander is more experienced and more technical, but his physical readiness will be of key importance.

In five months it is quite possible to improve your health and put yourself in order. However, a fresh video with Alexander not only made him doubt his prospects, but also frankly scared the fans. On it, Emelianenko appeared in an extremely deplorable state. It was evident that Alexander moved with great difficulty. The athlete’s speech is also far from normal. The fighter has not been a great speaker before, but in this video from Sport24, he sometimes spoke with great difficulty.

Old sores?

It is no secret to anyone that Alexander Emelianenko has been experiencing serious problems with alcohol addiction for many years. Repeatedly, this disease led to sad consequences for the fighter, not only during battles, but also in ordinary life.

So, in 2020, the athlete was arrested for a drunken brawl in Anapa. There, the fighter held a training camp, preparing for the fight with Magomed Ismailov, but the addiction took over. As a result, due to inadequate behavior, Emelianenko spent seven days in custody.

But in December 2021, Alexander assured his subscribers that he had gotten rid of the addiction.

“I gave up alcohol, I don’t drink anymore,” the athlete wrote on social networks.

“That’s it, Sasha, your end has almost come”

Despite all the assurances of Emelianenko, his appearance in the video suggests thoughts of a severe hangover. This drew the attention of subscribers in his social networks. A lot of comments from concerned fans appeared under Alexander’s last post. Someone urges the athlete to refuse the fight with Datsik, someone accuses him of alogism. There were also just sympathizers.

– I’m not a hater, on the contrary, I’m always for you. I sincerely worried when you fought against Magomed. Forget alcohol. The world of alcohol is forbidden to you. God forbid, some attack will happen, you may not survive,” wrote a user with the nickname @iurafrank5.

– I don’t understand, there are no close people around him? Nobody sees that he is sick? You look at him, what Datsik, what are you talking about? How can this fight be organized? He will die or remain disabled after several missed ones,” @alan_magon was indignant.

– That’s it, Sanya, you’re already running out! I watched the video with you, it’s tin! – described the bad appearance of Emelianenko @miller______95.

— Sanya! Stop drinking! Either drink and leave the sport, live your life in a buzz, but why in this state shine in public? – urged to quit alcohol by a user with the nickname @romchke.

– That’s it, Sasha, your end has almost come. What fights? Look at yourself from the outside, you can hardly walk, you can talk somehow. You need at least six months to restore the body. Forget about fights. Otherwise, a stroke or disability,” the user @iurafrank5 urged the fighter to be prudent.

It remains only to guess whether the bad habit has again taken over Emelianenko, or whether his health problems are much more serious than many fans assume. We can only agree with the fact that the fight with Datsik in September really poses a danger to the once tough MMA fighter.

Let’s bow our heads. 21-year-old boxer died on New Year’s Eve

Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians commemorate the people who lost their lives in the Russia-Ukraine war. Today Sport.ua recalls that 21-year-old Thai boxing master Vladislav Vakulenko, a very positive person, had great potential in the ring, but with the beginning of a full-scale invasion he decided to defend Ukraine. The fighter died exactly three years ago, on December 30, 2022, while conducting a combat mission near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.

Vladislav was born in Kiev and has been involved with sports since his childhood. Just six months before his tragic death, he received a diploma from the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine and dreamed of major competitions, medals and training future champions. In parallel with his studies, Vladislav trained in Muay Thai. The man hoped to return to training in the gym after the war.

Vladislav Vakulenko took up arms immediately after the Muscovites’ large-scale occupation of his territory. “We live with war! I understand that we live in a historical time when there are real brave comrades nearby, whose soul and body are eager for war… This is a time when you will remain a hero or die a hero,” he wrote on social networks.

His friends and coach remember Vlad as a man of light. He always smiled, joked, supported others, was a master of inspiration, did not make excuses, did not back down from difficulties. The friend wrote: “You’ve done more at this age than some have done in 50 or 60 years.” And Vlad’s mentor, Stanislav Voiten, recalls: “He did his best in training, gave his life in the fight against the invader. I am proud to have known him.”
