“Behaves like a jerk.” The coach staged a clowning in the RPL match and was expelled

Spartak Gogniev insulted his own football player, referees and even a commentator. Now he should not work in Russian football?

Khimki’s problems have been following one after another in recent months. Coaching leapfrog and incomprehensible manipulations with the composition have already led to disastrous results. Cheerfully started the season the club is in the relegation zone.

But, apparently, there are few purely game problems in the team, since the Khimki head coach arranged an emotional showdown with everyone right during the match against Dynamo Moscow.

Spartak Gogniev cursed the main star of his team and commentator. And then he rejoiced like a child with a goal from a penalty kick at a score of 0:6.

The very strange behavior has already been followed by a harsh reaction.

Strict sanctions on players

The position of Khimki near Moscow in the Russian championship is now worse than ever. The team hasn’t won in all tournaments since the beginning of August. During this time, the club managed to fire two coaches. Great hopes were placed on Spartak Gogniev, who showed himself great last season with Alania.

But even this specialist failed to correct the depressing position of the Moscow Region team in the standings. In game terms, the team also looks hopeless. At the same time, it is obvious that a tense atmosphere reigns inside the club – Spartak Arturovich has already managed to remove several base players from classes earlier.

The match against Dynamo didn’t bode well for Khimki either. The White-Blues have recently gained a good shape, having issued a series of victories from three matches. It is not surprising that the Khimki quickly found themselves in the status of a winning team. By the 33rd minute, serious passions were in full swing at the VTB Arena, because the team was already losing by two goals.

Gogniev, dissatisfied with the result, decided to remove captain Denis Glushakov from the field. When the player left the field, the head coach did not allow the player to come to the bench even to pick up his things. Spartak Arturovich pointed to the room under the stands and shouted: “Home.” Also, selected obscene language flew at the midfielder.

He was rude to everyone he could

Gogniev did not calm down and soon saw a red card in front of him. Already after the end of the first half, the Khimki coach started shouting obscene words at the chief referee Yan Bobrovsky.

The judge didn’t let the insults go unnoticed. He turned around and showed Gogniev a red card, thereby depriving him of the opportunity to be in the technical area.

But the removal did not cool the ardor of Spartak Arturovich, famous for his emotionality. The coach continued to splash out the negative already in the room under the stands, where Sergey Durasov, a Match TV commentator, fell under his hot hand. Gogniev expressed dissatisfaction with the questions asked by journalists next to the field. And again, there were no obscene expressions.

Having calmed down a little, Spartak Arturovich moved to the stands of the VTB Arena, where he transmitted tips to the coaching staff using the phone. But even here it was clear how emotionally the specialist was going through a major defeat of his team.

In the second half, the guests received three more goals in their own net. And only when the score was 0:6 Khimki got the right to a penalty kick, which was converted by Ilya Sadigov.

At this moment, Gogniev behaved extremely eccentrically. In a fit of unbridled jubilation, Spartak Arturovich even hit the chair of the VTB Arena, fortunately it turned out to be strong and did not suffer from the efforts of the specialist.

A vivid assessment of the actions of the head coach was given by Dmitry Guberniev, who called for Gogniev to be banned from working in Russian football.

– He behaves like a jerk, purposefully swears at the camera, and the children are watching. Such people should not work in Russian football. As a person who lives in Khimki, I’m just horrified, even though I don’t care about this team. Such people should not be allowed to play football. Even on the market he would not be allowed to work with such a culture of behavior. Why do we need such trainers? I am now turning to the RFU, RPL: “Why do we need such people?” Guberniev said.

It is very likely that after such a performance, Gogniev will continue to work from the stands for several more matches, if the team’s management leaves him at all as head coach after the clowning in the match with Dynamo.

All players of the Ukrainian national team. Szabo chose Ukraine’s best football players

Former coach of the Ukrainian national team Jozsef Szabo Meta.ua has exclusively chosen the version of the three best Ukrainian football players of this season for its website.

“In the first row, Ilya Zabarny is almost out of the competition,” Sabo said. – As far as I remember, there has been no regression in the game yet. Yes, the defender had unimpressive tackles, but these were isolated cases. But he’s only 23 years old. The contract with Paris Saint-Germain shows that this football player is currently one of the best in Europe. And do not forget that at that age he played 55 matches for the Ukrainian national team.

I will give second place to Ruslan Malinovsky, who seems to have found a second youth after being injured. This guy’s head is clear, making great passes is not difficult for a midfielder. Largely thanks to Malinovsky’s effective play, the Ukrainian national team managed to qualify for the play-offs in the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament.

The third will be Everton’s left back Vitaly Mikolenko. He is a consistent starter for his team. And no matter what position the team is in, the English league is still the strongest league in Europe. He is an irreplaceable football player in the national team.

Dzyuba appreciated coach Slutsky’s work at Shanghai Shenhua in 2025

Leonid Slutsky last year he performed well as coach of the Shanghai Shenhua football team. This opinion was expressed by the striker of Togliatti “Akron” Artem Dzyuba.

Last season, Slutsky took second place in the Chinese league with Shanghai Shenhua and led the club to the Asian Champions League playoffs for the first time. The team also won the Chinese Super Cup.

“He’s doing well in China, the only thing he was missing was a championship, everything was leading to that,” Dziuba said. “But it’s tough for a team that’s been in fifth place all their life, they don’t have that winning mentality.”

Slutsky is 54 years old and has been at the helm of the Chinese club since December 2023. In his career he has coached Rubin Kazan, Uralan Elista, Mosca, Krylya Sovetov Samara, CSKAEnglish “Hull” and Dutch “Vitesse”. Together with CSKA the specialist became champion of Russia three times, won the Russian Cup and the Super Cup twice.
