Midfielder “Wings of the Soviets” Roman Yezhov called the difficult match with “Spartak” (2:1) in the 5th round of the group stage of the FONBET Cup of Russia.
– After the second goal against Spartak, I experienced amazing emotions. It’s always nice to win, especially big teams like Spartak. It was quite a difficult match, equal. A lot of struggle, there was less beautiful football. But very happy. I won’t say that the match turned upside down. The game was on a collision course, an absolutely equal match – both they had chances and ours. I won’t say that we somehow turned the game around, we just continued to play our own game after the goal we conceded.
Fog? It is not very pleasant to play in such weather, and the field, unfortunately, was very wet. But all are on an equal footing. It was easier to see the players on the field, but there was discomfort, – Sport24 quotes Yezhov.
In the standings of group B, Krylia is second with 9 points, Spartak is the first with 12 points. In the final round on November 27, the club will host Fakel Voronezh at 16:00 (Moscow time). The match can be seen live on MATCH PREMIER.
