Arab clubs gather world stars. Ronaldo’s company could be made up of former Real Madrid and Reus defenders

They also want to resume the Ronaldo-Messi rivalry.

World stars often spend their football retirement in exotic leagues: someone chooses China or Japan, someone earns mls. Some go to Arab countries. This winter in particular, there are many rumors linking top players with Saudi Arabian clubs.

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portuguese star has already been introduced as an Al-Nasr player, although he has yet to make his debut for the club. In the fall, 37-year-old Cristiano burned all ties with Manchester United – he walked along Ralph Rangnik, declared disrespect by Erik ten Hag and not only.

The Arabs offered the best player excellent conditions – 200 million euros a year. According to rumors, the contract contains a clause according to which the forward can go on loan to Newcastle if the English enter the Champions League at the end of the current season.

For Al-Nasr, the acquisition of KriRo is a great image success. But the transfer involves a large number of difficulties. From the very beginning, there were problems with the Portuguese’s candidacy for the season: all the places stipulated by the limit for foreign players were occupied in the team, moreover, the bosses did not pay off the debts. When both issues were resolved, it turned out that Ronaldo would miss the next two games due to a suspension which he again received Premier League.

Lionel Messi

The race between the two legends must continue in all respects: the Argentine is claimed by Al-Nasr’s rival Al-Hilal, currently in third place in the Saudi Arabian championship.

If earlier Leo surpassed Cristiano in terms of the number of Golden Balls, and then by winning the World Cup, now he can surpass in terms of salary in the Arab team – Al-Hilal is ready to pay the striker 300 million euros to season, and most of the funds for his salary will be provided from the state budget. Thus, in Saudi Arabia, they want to refresh the rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo, which can increase the attractiveness of the national championship.

For Lionel, there is only one argument in favor of moving to Al-Hilal – money. Everything else speaks for the continuation of a career in Europe. The Argentinian is in great form and an important player at Paris Saint-Germain, with an option on the horizon with David Beckham’s co-owned Inter Miami. Also, there is talk of Barcelona wanting to reunite with the legend about him. The contract with the Arabs in such a situation is far from being in the foreground.

Sergio Ramos

Al-Nasr wants to collect several world tops at once and two of the potential reinforcements are Ronaldo’s ex-partners at Real Madrid. The first is Sergio Ramos.

The 36-year-old centre-back retired from the Spanish Grand Prix following the end of the 2020/21 season. Signed a contract with PSG, where he became a teammate of Messi. Now Sergio regularly enters the first team of the Parisians for championship matches and spends quite a lot of time on the field.

Ramos’ contract with the French giant is calculated until the end of the current season, and the Arabs want to make a transfer offer to the player right in the summer. As with Ronaldo, the purchase of the Spanish expert is strategic. Thus, the Arabs increase the attractiveness of the championship. To this end, the Al-Nasr bosses are ready to offer Sergio a contract with a huge salary.

Pepper

Cristiano himself insists on buying it. The Brazilian with a Portuguese passport is already 39 years old, his best years at Real Madrid are behind him, but he has settled in perfectly at Porto and is already in his fifth season with the team.

Previously, he missed part of the games of the Portuguese championship due to various injuries, but now he only took part in seven games out of 15. The central defender’s importance for Porto is gradually decreasing – he becomes a reserve player. And Ronaldo wants to take advantage of this: the Portuguese striker has already turned to the leadership of Al-Nasr with a request to retake the center.

Roberto Firmini

The influence of the Brazilian center forward on Liverpool’s game will inevitably decrease: the Merseysiders are gradually updating the forward line, they signed Darwin Nunez in the summer, now Cody Gakpo has joined the Reds.

At the same time, Roberto is still good in the Premier League: 7 goals and 3 assists in 13 meetings Premier League. The Brazilian is leaning towards the option to extend the contract with the English giant – the current agreement expires in the summer of 2023. But the forward is in demand in Saudi Arabia. It is not specified who specifically wants to obtain the Pentacampione player, but it is known that Al-Nasr is not among the contenders for Roberto.

Marco Reus

The 33-year-old midfielder is about to end his contract with Borussia Dortmund. The German giant is in no hurry to renew the agreement with the player: Marco is often injured and misses several games, which starts to weigh on his performance with age.

Against this background, Al-Nasr himself became interested in German. It’s entirely possible Marco will be in Saudi Arabia next summer – there’s both a level of endurance and a lower speed, so the midfielder will be able to keep his mark for a while. Interestingly, Royce has not refuted the Al-Nasr transition rumors:

For me, it is important to be healthy, conduct training sessions and whole matches. Everything else will become clear in the future. That’s why I have an agent. But obviously I’m looking ahead, I only have six months left on my contract. I would be wrong if I didn’t worry.

Ivlev said that Dinamo is ready to change the limit for foreign players

Dynamo Moscow is ready to change the limit for foreign players in the Russian football championship. The president of the Dynamo board of directors said this in an interview. Alexander Ivlev.

Ministry of Sports RF proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 in the field” scheme.

“I can say that Dynamo is ready for these changes. We have wonderful young people who have grown up in the club. And a good core of players at the level of the Russian national team. I think most teams RPL (Mir – Russian Premier League – known source) will be ready for this too. We hope that this will have a positive effect on the quality of play of Russian players,” Ivlev said.

“I believe that foreign footballers have already become part of the ecosystem of Russian football. Those sparks of Latin American and African football that we see performed by the masters in our league, of course, give an additional effect in terms of beauty of football, artistry and all this is also passed on to our players. Therefore, we absolutely cannot refuse these opportunities,” Ivlev added.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the pitch. In September, the Russian Football Federation said the current limit allowed young players’ playing time to be increased to 18% for the first time.
