The champion advances Champions League: Thibaut Courtois hardly had to work a bit in the first half to secure his ranking Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the European competition, in a match against Liverpool which the Spanish team controlled in the second half and finished winning 1-0 with Karim Benzema’s goal.

The game had more shots on goal than the 5-2 of the first leg (13 vs. 11), but much less emotion: The start was entertaining with both teams close to the goal, but once Liverpool seemed to assume they couldn’t change the order, it all got pretty monotonous.

Now Real Madrid, the only Spanish side in the competition’s quarter-finals, await Friday’s draw: they could face Napoli, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Benfica or Bayern Munich.

Gasperini: Europe has suffered losses against other teams, including Italy

Head coach Romi Gian Piero Gasperini commented on his team’s victory in the European League match against Celtic (3:0).

“It’s never easy getting around these beautiful, historic fields. It wasn’t easy to make money here. Celtic won the series on home ground. Europe has played matches against other teams, including Italy. This allows you to encounter even stronger attackers. In European cups, football is completely different.

Pisilli, Ferguson and Resta Gravtsev, who made changes to the warehouse, showed good work. It gives the opportunity to expand the warehouse. Now we have to make important judgments before we can make money in games that have major consequences.

Under the hour, Ferguson was afraid to do what he had to do in training. He is a young boy and we must exercise patience. Yogo another goal but miracles. He has shown a beautiful game, and it is important that he does not act in this mood and shows his best genius.

We must be patient. Young boys can show themselves at their best. It might be better this way, just put it out there. We’ll talk about today’s transfer soon, and we still have some important games ahead of us.

How will Roma cope with the loss of El-Ainau and N’Dika at the African Cup of Nations? We’ll know tomorrow if it goes away. We would like the stink to stay with us against Como, otherwise if there were any other games we would be left without two key players. “Today we were convinced that the smell is even more important,” Gasperina quotes Voetbal-Italia.
