Riots around football matches in European competition seem to be becoming commonplace. Pogroms in the streets, burned cars, clashes with the police – this is no surprise to anyone. However, recently the organizers have not been able to secure even the players on the field. In the next Conference League match, a fan ran onto the field and broke the nose of a player from the opposing team.

The match of the 1/8 finals of the Conference League, in which the Turkish Sivasspor hosted the Italian Fiorentina, ended in a crushing victory for the guests. Having conceded first, the players of the Italian team responded with four goals and, following the results of the confrontation, advanced to the next round.

The authors of the goals in the Florentine team were: Artur Cabral, Nikola Milenkovic, Gaetano Castrovilli. Another ball hit the gates of the Turkish team from their own defender. 20-year-old Fiorentina midfielder Alessandro Bianco appeared on the field only at the end of the match and took part in the defeat indirectly. However, the young Italian nevertheless became a participant in one of the most resonant episodes of the meeting.

After the fourth goal against Sivasspor, two fans of the Turkish team broke into the field, who, judging by their unfriendly attitude, did not like the scoreboard very much. One of the unrestrained football fans did not find anything better than to attack a player from the opposing team. He identified Bianco as his victim. Immediately after the incident, the football player went to the under-tribune room and could not celebrate the success of his team.

The result of this trick was the broken nose of the Italian, as it became known at the post-match press conference.
