“We praise foreign coaches, but we would like our specialists to be trusted” – Borodyuk

Former Torpedo head coach Alexander Borodyuk told RB Sport that RPL clubs should pay attention to Russian specialists and trust them more.

– After the victory, Spartak scores 45 points and catches up with Rostov. In your opinion, “Spartak” will be able to impose a fight on “Zenith”?

– No, no one will impose a fight on Zenit. Spartak, CSKA and Rostov will fight for the second place. I think that Zenit will become the champion ahead of schedule, because at the moment there is no competition for Zenit in the RPL, ”said Borodyuk.

– How do you like the return of Sergei Yuran and Andrey Talalaev?

– It’s hard to say, they’ve only played the first matches so far. It is necessary to look in further matches, how they will show themselves. You understand how it is in our media: we praise foreign coaches. It is not very clear why they are so treated. If foreign coaches achieve results, it’s good, but if there are no results, then, in my opinion, many club leaders can pay attention to Russian specialists. Because many of our players and coaches have gone through a large European school. I would like our coaches to be trusted, because they work a lot in both the Second and First Leagues. They just need to be trusted.

Zenit, led by Sergei Semak, leads the standings with 54 points. Next is Rostov (45), headed by Valery Karpin. The top three are closed by Spartak (45), led by Spaniard Guillermo Abascal.

Ivlev said that Dinamo is ready to change the limit for foreign players

Dynamo Moscow is ready to change the limit for foreign players in the Russian football championship. The president of the Dynamo board of directors said this in an interview. Alexander Ivlev.

Ministry of Sports RF proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 in the field” scheme.

“I can say that Dynamo is ready for these changes. We have wonderful young people who have grown up in the club. And a good core of players at the level of the Russian national team. I think most teams RPL (Mir – Russian Premier League – known source) will be ready for this too. We hope that this will have a positive effect on the quality of play of Russian players,” Ivlev said.

“I believe that foreign footballers have already become part of the ecosystem of Russian football. Those sparks of Latin American and African football that we see performed by the masters in our league, of course, give an additional effect in terms of beauty of football, artistry and all this is also passed on to our players. Therefore, we absolutely cannot refuse these opportunities,” Ivlev added.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the pitch. In September, the Russian Football Federation said the current limit allowed young players’ playing time to be increased to 18% for the first time.
