The President of Dynamo Makhachkala, Gadzhi Gadzhiev, said that Shamil Gazizov will take the post of general director of the club and will perform the same duties as in Ufa.
– I can’t say when we will officially announce Shamil Gazizov in our club. But I don’t think we’ll have to wait long. Perhaps it will be before the end of the working week. We won’t sign for sure on Monday — it’s a hard day, ha ha.
Gazizov will have the position of general director and he will be responsible for the same thing that he did at Ufa,” Gadzhiev told Sport24.
Gazizov on June 5 resigned from the post of general director of Ufa. The statement noted that he took the blame for the results of the team last season, following which she was relegated to the Second League.
Gazizov has been the CEO of Ufa since 2012. During this time, the team entered the Russian Premier League and managed to play in the Europa League qualification. In the summer of 2020, the sports manager accepted the invitation of Spartak, but left the Moscow club a few months later, after which he returned to Ufa.
