Dyakov said that his childhood idol was Alessandro Del Piero

The former defender of Rostov, Spartak and other RPL clubs Vitaly Dyakov told Euro-Futbol.Ru that in childhood his idol was the ex-striker of Juventus and the Italian national team Alessandro Del Piero, thanks to which he paid more attention to free kicks blows.

– All my childhood until the age of 17 I always played in the attack. My childhood idol has always been Alessandro Del Piero, I watched all the matches of Juventus, I saw all his goals and as a child I practiced a lot of free kicks. In his later career, he devoted a lot of time to this. Since then, this ability to hit free kicks has remained. There was a season when I hit the crossbar six or seven times from the standards, it was not bad, – said Dyakov.

Del Piero retired in 2015. During his career, he played 777 matches, scored 316 goals and made 189 assists.

Bulykin named the position that Spartak needs to strengthen

Former Russian national football player Dmitry Bulykin expressed his opinion on how Spartak could strengthen during the winter window.

What kind of player does Spartak need in the winter transfer window? First of all, another goalscoring striker. They are already in a good position and can fight for the championship, but due to the atmosphere in the team there were disagreements.

Now we need a good coach who unites them with a single goal and task. If I were in Spartak, I would find another goalscoring striker in the winter and fight for the championship.

Amorim explains Casemiro’s surprise substitution against Newcastle

Mentor Manchester United Reuben Amorim he said he replaced the midfielder Casemiro during the 1–0 win over Newcastle United because he felt the Brazilian would “struggle” with the intensity of the second half.

Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte formed United’s midfield duo in the absence of Bruno Fernandes, who missed the match with a hamstring injury, but Amorim replaced the Brazilian with Leni Yoro in the 61st minute.

After seeing his number on the substitution board, Casemiro pointed to himself and was disappointed with Amorim’s decision to replace him so early in the match.

Asked to explain Casemiro’s substitution, Amorim replied: “At that moment I didn’t want to shoot [Матеуса] Cunho because he is the only one who allows us to be creative and I put him in position number 10. Jack [Флетчер] it was fresh and could continue, Manu [Угарте] he was cooler than Casemiro. In the end we decided to replace him because they were making a lot of quick passes and I felt that at that point he would have difficulty.”
