President of Al-Ittihad from Alexandria of Egypt Mohamed Muselhi said his club could play a friendly against Zenit.
In the near future, the youth teams will play, but the president has not ruled out that the main teams will play later.
In accordance with the partnership agreement recently reached between the two historic clubs, a friendly match between the Zenit and Al Ittihad youth teams is scheduled for 8 September.
Future matches and events involving both teams of different ages are currently under consideration and will be announced if an agreement is reached.
