Neymar seems to have been cursed. The Brazilian sobs from powerlessness and calls out to heaven

They paid a lot of money for the striker, but he was again left without football for a long time due to a serious injury.

One of the brightest football players in the world suffers a very quick downfall. Fans have long been accustomed to Neymar’s constant whims and brazen antics, but now something terrible has happened.

The striker in the national team had fun and criticized the management instead of playing football. A serious injury returned to him like a boomerang, which puts an end to this season.

Things are so bad that Neymar even turned to God.

Sad autumn

Leaving PSG for warm Saudi Arabia cannot yet be called successful for the Brazilian star. At the very least, Neymar’s play and his adaptation to the Asian championship raise questions. For his new club, he has played only five matches so far and scored only once. However, this is not the worst thing.

The main problem is the character of the Brazilian. He had already come into conflict with the club’s Portuguese coach, Jorge Jesus, when, after an unsuccessful home game in the Asian Champions League against Navbahor (1:1), he reacted emotionally to criticism against him. According to rumors, there was some assault. Neymar, of course, denies everything.

In such a situation, Neymar could count on the national team becoming an outlet for him, but his start to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup is also not encouraging. For the Seleçao, the striker scored only in the first qualifying game, which ended in the defeat of Bolivia (5:1), but later the game of Neymar and the team did not work out. We barely managed to win in Peru, followed by a draw with Venezuela at home and a disaster in Uruguay (0:2).

The sharp decline of the Brazilian team also affected the 31-year-old scorer, who quarreled with both the president of the football federation and the fans in the stands. Well, in Montevideo, a personal drama happened to the football player.

End of career?

At the end of the first half of the match with Uruguay, when the Pentacampeons were already losing 0:1, Neymar was injured. Considering the attacker’s propensity for various types of damage, it became alarming for him. The Brazilian only recovered from ankle pain by mid-summer, due to which he missed about four months.

Before Neymar had even played 10 matches, a new disaster happened. The player left the field on a stretcher and with tears in his eyes. Apparently, Neymar already realized at that moment that he would be left without football for a long time. A day later, information came that the Al-Ahly player had a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus – a disaster.

Any doctor will tell you that recovery time in such situations ranges from six months to… infinity. At the same time, the possibility of a relapse cannot be ruled out, and, remembering the traumatic history of the football player, it is now very difficult to plan a future career.

It’s scary to imagine what the Arab sheikhs are going through now, having spent more than 100 million euros on the purchase of Neymar, plus the costs of the space infrastructure created around the player. It is unlikely that the Al Ahly striker will appear in the club’s jersey before the end of the season.

Support from the main rival

The situation is hopeless. Neymar understands that he will need not only the help of doctors, but also higher powers.

— This was the verse I posted before I left: “In his heart a man plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps (Proverbs 16:9). God knows everything. All honor and glory always belong to You, my God, no matter what You say, I believe,” the Brazilian wrote on his page on the social network.

The striker’s ex-partner at Barcelona and PSG, Messi, also did not stay away from the trouble. The Argentine published a laconic caption under a joint photo with the Brazilian: “I wish you a lot of strength.”

Considering that the Argentine himself is now recovering from an injury, he understands Neymar’s suffering very well. True, unlike the Brazilian, Messi managed to win the World Cup. But Neymar, apparently, is never destined to win the main tournament on the planet.

Liverpool have agreed a contract with Guehi

Captain of Crystal Palace Marco Guehi set to join Liverpool at the end of the season. The England international’s contract expires in June and there are no plans to renew it.

Liverpool had already made a bid of £35 million in the last window, but the Londoners canceled the deal just hours before the transfer window closed. Sky Sports reports that Guehi remains interested in a move to Anfield and that a “gentleman’s agreement” has been reached between the two parties for the move to take place in the summer.

However, the situation could still change if Palace decide to cash in during the January transfer window. In addition to Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also interested in Guehi, who will make an offer next month.
