Sports director of Alania Timur Demurov spoke about the future appointment of a new coach of the team.
First of all, I would like to thank Oleg Petrovich Vasilenko for his professional approach and work done, and also wish him success in his future career! Regarding the candidacy for the post of coach of our team, there was a meeting with the president of the club, during which it was decided that we would deal with the issue closely after the winter break of the championship. At the moment there is no point in naming names. I saw several names popping up, but I can say with certainty that to date not a single candidate has been considered for the head coaching job. Now we are all focused on preparing for the last match of the current calendar year.
Alania-2 coach Soslan Beteev, as well as team coaches Vitaly Khapsaev and Alan Dzutsev, will hold lessons with the players before the meeting with Akron. I myself will try to make every effort to ensure that our team is combat ready for the match with Akron. We have no doubts about the competence of these trainers. We will do everything in our power to successfully host the next match!
