A jailed Russian football player demands millions from his ex-wife. Haven’t you heard about dignity?

The drama-filled love story of Pavel Mamaev ends with legal proceedings.

There are plenty of beautiful love stories in Russian football, but, unfortunately, some come to a sad end too early. Just yesterday, the ex-national team player did not spare any money for his wife and was ready to spend crazy amounts of money just to save his beloved from depression. Now he is demanding the return of millions.

Fresh lawsuit

Former Russian footballer Pavel Mamaev, after finishing his career, decided to enrich himself by several million, and in a rather unexpected way. The day before, a claim by P.K. Mamaev against A.N. Mamaeva “for recovery of unjust enrichment” was registered on the portal of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction. The ex-player of the Russian national team expects to receive 10,220,000 rubles.

The football player’s ex-wife Alana confirmed that she had already received a pre-trial claim. She also responded to the latest lawsuit by showing subscribers the documents she had received.

— First pre-trial claims, now a statement of claim. Just a bunch of writings from three years ago. 25 again! How can? “I don’t have any strength anymore,” Alana said indignantly on social networks.

Now there is no longer any doubt that the beautiful love story is over. But at one time it might have seemed that everything would turn out differently.

“I smashed the car with a hammer”

Pavel and Alana met in a restaurant. The football player was relaxing with a company that included a friend of his future wife. She invited Alana to join the fun. Feelings arose between the young people, which did not become a passing hobby; it turned into a trip to the registry office.

Soon Pavel changed CSKA to Krasnodar, which meant moving from the capital to Kuban. It was hard for Alana there; she suffered due to the lack of her usual comfort. The football player decided to save his wife from depression in an unexpected way: he paid for air tickets and a hotel for his beloved’s Moscow friends, who were very impressed by such a surprise.

Mamaev tried to be not only a good husband, but also a wonderful father. His wife called him a super dad, noting that the athlete spends a lot of time with his children. By the way, the couple had only one child in their marriage, and before meeting the football player, Alana already had a son. But, apparently, the Krasnodar and Russian national team midfielder treated both children very well. However, it cannot be said that there were no problems in the relationship.

— I don’t know his PIN code, I just have the skills to open the phone. At some point I learned to be patient and wait to see how far it would go. I completely read all the correspondence, collected material, and took screenshots. I thought: how long will it be enough? Then it came to a scandal. I smashed his car with a hammer. I had to hire a family psychologist… – Mamaeva said in an interview with the Tochki NadI channel.

“I’m happy now”

Unpleasant discoveries for Alana continued during the famous court case, when it turned out that in unfortunate circumstances Pavel was not only friends with Alexander Kokorin, but also with another girl. Nevertheless, his wife decided to forgive Mamaev these unattractive episodes from his biography.

“I’ll try to understand myself and my family.” I think there were a lot of things wrong with us. “I have a desire for us to be happy… Now I’m happy that I’m next to you,” the football player said in an interview with his wife.

But then another betrayal happened at an overseas training camp. Alana said that the couple was divorcing “peacefully and without scandals.” She said that she does not apply for a division of property and does not ask for alimony. However, in the fall of 2023, it turned out that Pavel had a child support debt of about a million, and he was even forbidden to leave the country. Mamaev, too, it would seem, did not want to demand anything from his ex-wife.

“We divorced in April, and I can say frankly: during this entire period I have never regretted this decision. I didn’t want to hear her, at that moment I felt so [сильное] disgust. Sometimes it feels like I’ve just encountered the devil. “I don’t want to share anything with her, let her take absolutely everything,” the athlete said in an interview with Match TV.

And now he still demands some money. How so? Here it is appropriate to recall the paired tattoos of Pavel and Alana: “Forget the past. Don’t think about the future. Live the present”. Apparently, they didn’t think much about the future; they are trying to forget about the past now. And it’s hard to imagine that people who once loved each other wanted to find themselves in just such a present…
