“Siluro” Technical Director Kirill Makarishchev he described in detail the progress of the works for the reconstruction of the stadium named after Eduard Streltsov, the home arena “Avtozavodtsev”.
We have optimized the structure of the stadium, now its surface has become 50 thousand square meters. Next to the stadium there will be a training ground, which we will license to be able to play FNL-one, FNL-2. The first step was to ensure that the training process in the “Torpedo” sports and health enhancing complex was not interrupted. To begin the dismantling of the stadium, we built the sports complex and ensured a painless relocation of the complex. The second stage is the dismantling of the changing rooms. The contractor has come out of the ground, we proceed to the roof, to the facades. We have now started developing the concept of the projection pavilion. The stadium is scheduled to go into service by the end of 2025, as previously announced.
As for the construction times, there have been shifts linked to the pandemic, to the coordination of some architectural structures. We will try our best to complete everything on time.
