Today Rangers Football Club is deeply saddened to announce the death of our legendary goalkeeper Andrew Goram after a brief battle with cancer.
Goram said in May that doctors diagnosed him with stage four esophageal cancer, which left him about six months to live. The disease affected the liver, right lung, three vertebrae and ribs. Goram refused a course of chemotherapy, which could have lengthened his life to nine months.
