PARI would like to hold Legends Matches not only annually, but even more often

On July 8, in St. Petersburg, before the PARI Legends Match, a press conference was held, in which Dmitry Alenichev and Oleg Romantsev from Spartak took part, and Zenit was represented by Anatoly Davydov and Alexei Igonin. In addition, the head of sponsorship projects of the PARI betting company answered the questions of journalists Alexey Levinsky.

Viktor Gusev:

“More and more often, in connection with such powerful, even unusual and very inventive football projects, we hear the name of the betting company PARI. And it is very characteristic and logical that this cup is called the “PARI Legends Match”. And let’s then, if we are talking about PARI and bets, let’s start from the coefficients. I’m talking about the match of legends. The coefficient for Zenit is 2.25. The coefficient for Spartak is even before Bazhenov – 2.55. How do you rate it?

Alexey Levinsky:

“Based on the coefficients, I think everyone understands that the teams have approximately equal lineups. Of course, there can be no clear favorite here. Personally, I think that a slight advantage is still on the side of the red-whites, since the team of Spartak veterans often plays matches. At the same time, we are well aware that the game will be absolutely equal. All viewers and we will remember the legendary confrontation, the legendary personalities who will take to the field and, as before, will please the beautiful game.”

Viktor Gusev:

“What is the place of the Legends Match for PARI? Are you planning to do it again next year?”

Alexey Levinsky:

“Absolutely, we would like to do [такие проекты] not only every year, but probably even more often. If the members allow. Of course, we are interested. I’ve been a Spartak fan since I was little. We also went out into the yard, in each team people wanted to be Alenichev, Titov, Tikhonov and shared among themselves who would play whom today on the football field. Another team chose Arshavin, Kerzhakov and so on.

Of course, we understand that this project gives us the opportunity to touch that period, and then we could not become partners. Now we have this opportunity. We are trying to show the audience – most importantly, the new audience – how it was before, at what level the players were, what level they are now. Therefore, we are happy – and this is the word that reflects our mood – that we are partners in this tournament.

Ivlev said that Dinamo is ready to change the limit for foreign players

Dynamo Moscow is ready to change the limit for foreign players in the Russian football championship. The president of the Dynamo board of directors said this in an interview. Alexander Ivlev.

Ministry of Sports RF proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 in the field” scheme.

“I can say that Dynamo is ready for these changes. We have wonderful young people who have grown up in the club. And a good core of players at the level of the Russian national team. I think most teams RPL (Mir – Russian Premier League – known source) will be ready for this too. We hope that this will have a positive effect on the quality of play of Russian players,” Ivlev said.

“I believe that foreign footballers have already become part of the ecosystem of Russian football. Those sparks of Latin American and African football that we see performed by the masters in our league, of course, give an additional effect in terms of beauty of football, artistry and all this is also passed on to our players. Therefore, we absolutely cannot refuse these opportunities,” Ivlev added.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the pitch. In September, the Russian Football Federation said the current limit allowed young players’ playing time to be increased to 18% for the first time.
