“Spartak” needs to have more sports anger and be more cynical, said Abaskal after the match with “Orenburg”

“Spartak” should realize better chances and show more sports anger, said the head coach of the Moscow football club Guillermo Abascal.

On Sunday, the Red-Whites defeated Orenburg at home in the third round of the WORLD RPL with a score of 4:1.

– In general, the analysis of the game is positive. Great start, we spent the first minutes as needed. I would also like to note the standard provisions, one of which we prepared just yesterday and have already implemented today. Of course, the first minutes of the second half we needed to control the game better, this is something we need to work on. The opponent went ahead, and we gave him a lot to create. This will be a lesson for us.

I also want to mention the players who were able to come on as a substitute. It is important to have players who can come out and improve. We had many moments. We need to consolidate such a beginning as today, and we will work on eliminating errors.

Indeed, we must realize the chances with greater determination. When you need to “close” a match, you need to do it confidently. The more I see RPL matches these days, the more I am positively surprised: each team clings to points, everyone fights with everyone, there are a lot of sensations. The league positively surprises me.

We need to have more sporting anger, we need to be more cynical in front of the goal. Yes, there are different situations during the matches, everything happens, but we need to work on controlling the game from the 1st to the 90th minute,” Abascal said at a press conference.

This match was the first home match for the capital club this season. Earlier, Spartak lost to Zenit in the game for the Super Bowl (0:4), in the Russian championship tied with Akhmat (1:1) and beat Krasnodar (4:1).

— It is very important that during these four matches we released all the field players, tested them in action, with the exception of the third goalkeeper. We are like one family, this is very important for us,” said Abaskal.

He also said that midfielder Mikhail Ignatov, who has not yet entered the field this season, will get the opportunity to play.

“I believe in Michael. Together we analyze his actions, believe in his talent. Often he stays for a second workout, works extra. He knows very well that I believe in him. Ignatov will definitely get a chance. And I’m sure that when he gets it, he will definitely use it,” the Spanish specialist assured.

“Spartak” in the next round of the RPL on August 6 will play on the road with the Yekaterinburg “Ural”.

Ivlev said that Dinamo is ready to change the limit for foreign players

Dynamo Moscow is ready to change the limit for foreign players in the Russian football championship. The president of the Dynamo board of directors said this in an interview. Alexander Ivlev.

Ministry of Sports RF proposes to tighten the limit for foreign players by 2028 according to the “10 foreign players in the application, 5 in the field” scheme.

“I can say that Dynamo is ready for these changes. We have wonderful young people who have grown up in the club. And a good core of players at the level of the Russian national team. I think most teams RPL (Mir – Russian Premier League – known source) will be ready for this too. We hope that this will have a positive effect on the quality of play of Russian players,” Ivlev said.

“I believe that foreign footballers have already become part of the ecosystem of Russian football. Those sparks of Latin American and African football that we see performed by the masters in our league, of course, give an additional effect in terms of beauty of football, artistry and all this is also passed on to our players. Therefore, we absolutely cannot refuse these opportunities,” Ivlev added.

According to the current limit, clubs RPL can include 13 foreign players in the application and release 8 foreign players on the pitch. In September, the Russian Football Federation said the current limit allowed young players’ playing time to be increased to 18% for the first time.
