On April 19th the UEFA decision for what happened in Marseille – PAOK

The European Football Association announced that on April 19 it will announce its decision on the consequences of the first quarter-final of the Europa Conference League between Marseille and PAOK.

The first game between Marseille and PAOK for the quarter-finals of the Conference League was exciting on the field, but the bad thing was that, in addition to the players, who are the natural protagonists on the field, the fans also stole the show.

Indeed, the game was marred by serious incidents in the stands of the Velodrome, with clashes between fans of the two teams and an exchange of flares, with the latest tally being the injury of 30 police officers and 12 arrests of fans.

All of this, of course, could not go unnoticed by UEFA, who have proved that they do not want behavior that discredits their football product.

So she opened a file on the case of the episodes and as she announced on Thursday (14/4), on April 19 she will issue her decision on the episodes that marked the first quarter-final between Marseille and PAOK.

“Following the start of the disciplinary proceedings following the first quarter-final match between Olympique Marseille and PAOK (2-1), which took place in France on April 7, 2022, the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee has forwarded the information on the two associations to the UEFA Appeals Chamber, which was held on 7 April 2022 April 19, 2022 will make an urgent decision”, refers to the corresponding notice of the governing body of European football.

UEFA has also made this clear “This decision could potentially have an impact on the conditions for fans to access the games.”
