Dnipro-1’s defender Oleksandr Svatok shared his expectations from the Europa League qualifying match (August 18) against AEK Larnaca:
– What are your expectations for tomorrow’s match?
– From the very beginning, the club took on the task of entering European competitions. And we have completed this task. All players are filled with the desire to go to the group stage.
– How do you find the city of Kosice? How did you prepare for the match with AEK?
– We were well received. There are good conditions to prepare for the match. All villagers wish us good luck. Many people here and from Ukraine came to us and wished the best for the match.
All players are in good physical condition, one hundred percent, we hope to show that in our match against AEK. We want to show the best game. We examined how our opponent played, we talked. This is an experienced and technical team with many top class players on its staff.

Ukrainian defender Nottingham Forest Alexander Zinchenko He shared his feelings after his team beat Utrecht (2:1) in the main round of the Europa League.
“It’s a great feeling. First of all, I’m back. Secondly, it’s an incredible feeling to win a match. Getting three points today was very important for us. As you can see, it was a difficult match. But at the end of the match, I think we got what we wanted and let’s continue like that.”
“As a defender you always want to keep a clean sheet, but unfortunately we couldn’t do that today. So it’s something we need to work on in the future.”

But to be honest, even the opportunities we created, including me, we should have scored and finished this match earlier,” said Zinchenko.
