Serie A: Lecce beats Lazio, Roma beats Bologna
The return of action for Lazio didn’t have the expected results as Lecce came through with an upset and denied them a chance to chase Juventus in 3rd place. Roma did their duty against Babis Lykogiannis’ Bologna.
Lazio were in the hunt for 3rd place in Serie A after Matchday 16 but ultimately lost their win following their upset Lech and win with 2-1 in Puglia.
The visitors took the lead through Ciro Immobile in an even 1st half and with almost all the stars on the pitch they looked to rely on the power gap to extend their lead. This didn’t happen and the home side reacted in the 2nd half where they were excellent on the counterattack.
Gabriel Streleza equalized in the 57th minute and fifteen minutes later Lorenzo Colombo turned the tide for Marco Baroni’s side, who moved further from the relegation zone.
At the same time, the capital’s other team, Roma, prevailed 1-0 you Bologna and caught Lazio on 30 points. The game came in the shadow of the passing of Sinisa Mihajlovic, who had been linked with both clubs (Roma player and rival, Bologna coach).
The game only ended in the 6th minute with a penalty by Lorenzo Pellegrini for the “Giallorossi”. When Paulo Dybala returned, the home side were more dangerous despite having little possession. The dangerous counterattacks didn’t bring another goal, but neither did his teammates Babi Lykogiannis (65 minutes played) equalized and Jose Mourinho’s men returned to winning ways after three games.

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds
An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.
Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.
In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.
Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
