Celebrations for Milan, big point for Salernitana in the 1-1 draw at the San Siro

A 1-1 draw between Milan and Salernitana ended Matchday 26 in Serie A, with the hosts dropping two valuable points while the visitors clinched another vital point in their bid to stay up.

The match between Milan and Salernitana ended in a 1-1 draw and the two sides scored to close out the 26th matchday in Serie A. Cheers to the home team, who lost two valuable points in the battle for the top spots, while the visitors another important point in their fight to remain in the division.

Milan were better in the first 45 minutes, had the upper hand in the game but couldn’t score despite the chances they had with Giroud and Leao. The hosts found the goal in the first minute of added time when the French striker headed in from a corner from the right.

Juventus defeated Verona and, with a 1-0 win in Turin, continued to close the ‘scissors’ gap of teams to secure a place in the top four of Serie A.

Fiorentina scored a superb 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the San Siro and made an important European move, although the Nerazzurri missed out on great scoring chances.

THE Florence got the first win at “Giuseppe Meazza” since 2015 against Inter and the 1-0 brings it strong into the European game after the 28th matchday of Serie A.
