Atalanta beat Empoli 2-1 on Matchday 27 of Serie A, Hoylund leveling against Empoli in the 86th minute.

Atalanta returned to winning ways after four Serie A games without a win as they defeated Empoli 2-1 after losing to Napoli on matchday 27 of the Liga.

The hosts had their backs to the wall after Eboli opened the scoring through Ebuehi with a minute remaining in the first half.

Juventus defeated Verona and, with a 1-0 win in Turin, continued to close the ‘scissors’ gap of teams to secure a place in the top four of Serie A.

Fiorentina scored a superb 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the San Siro and made an important European move, although the Nerazzurri missed out on great scoring chances.

Atalanta returned to Champions League spots after a 3-1 win over bottom side Cremonese on Matchday 28 of Serie A.
