4. Panathinaikos: 39 points

Panathinaikos is in 4th place with 39 points. If we take PAS Giannina’s -5 and Aris’ -6 for granted, then the Greens are in the playoffs regardless of what will happen in the final game against Atromitos (6/3, 19:00).

To be able to take risks it is necessary to return the points in PAS Giannina and Aris. Then the Greens need a win in the last game to be safe as they are threatened.

5. Mars: 36 points

Aris is in 5th place with 36 points. The Yellows are awaiting the CAS decision and in the event of a -6 return they have gone into the playoffs. Of course, if there is a draw, the situation is complicated. A triple draw between Aris, OFI and PAS (37 points) sees the Epirotes and the Cretans advance to the playoffs, leaving out the Yellows. There is also a quadruple draw scenario between Aris, PAS Giannina, Astera and OFI at 37 points. In this case, PAS and Aris enter six.

If Aris loses then it will be threatened by all its playoff contenders. Of course, if the Epirotes get the five points back, Aris has to win the last game and the Arkades have to lose at least one point.

With four or three points in either game, they’re guaranteed unless the points are returned to PAS Giannina or Aris. If they lose both games, Asteras will go into the playoffs with losses to PAS and OFI in the last game and even a loss to Volos. Of course, things can get complicated with a tie at 37 points, while a triple tie with PAS and OFI at 35 gives them the upper hand for the six.

7th PAS Giannina: 34 points

PAS Giannina is 7th after deducting five points with 34 points. If he’s justified in second place, he’s almost secured a playoff spot. It can only be threatened if the points are returned to Mars.

Going with the flow, if PAS Giannina prevails against Volos, then Asteras will need zero or a point in the games with Olympiakos and AEK. At the same time, it looks to OFI, with the tie between them going beyond goal difference (+4 PAS, -1 OFI). Arkades also has the upper hand in a draw against Asteras (with two draws), who also have a draw against OFI (with a triple draw with 37).
